These Terms of Service ("Agreement") set out the understanding between Coastify.org LLC ("Coastify," "we," "us") and anyone who purchases a product from coastify.org or in person (the "Customer," "you"). By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Coastify jewelry — bracelets, pendants, brooches, and keychains — is handmade to order in our Florida studio. Because each piece is made by hand, slight variations in color, finish, and size between what's shown online and what arrives are normal and are not considered defects.
Every piece includes an embedded smart chip that shares your digital profile (contact details, social links, portfolio, etc.) with a single tap. Each piece carries its own tap-to-claim code: after it arrives, tap it with your phone to claim it and link it to your digital profile — build your page in minutes, or connect a link you already have. No profile details are needed at checkout, and activation never delays production or shipping.
Full payment is due at the time of purchase, using one of our accepted payment methods (currently Stripe or PayPal). Orders are not entered into production until payment has been received and confirmed.
Shipping is currently free on every order. Orders are processed within 7–10 business days of us receiving your digital profile information, then shipped via USPS, FedEx, or UPS. We currently ship within the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. You'll receive a tracking notification once your order ships.
When you tap a Coastify smart jewelry piece and choose "Let's connect," you voluntarily share your contact details (name, email, phone, message, and optionally a photo of your business card) with the owner of that piece. By submitting this information, you consent to the piece owner storing your contact details, contacting you about the connection, and sending you a follow-up email. Your data is stored securely, accessible only to the piece owner, and never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. You may request deletion of your data at any time via our contact page.
If you use the business card scanning feature, you confirm you have the right to share the information on the card. The scanned image is processed to extract contact details and may be stored with your submission.
Service providers (subprocessors). We share your information only with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the tap-to-connect service. These providers are contractually obligated to process your information solely as necessary to provide services to us and in accordance with our instructions. Our current subprocessors are:
Business card photos you scan are stored alongside your contact record so the piece owner can reference them. We will provide prior notice of any new subprocessor via an update to these Terms. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Beta service. The tap-to-connect platform is currently offered as a free beta service. Features may change, and we do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available or operate without interruption. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coastify is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use, misuse, or wear of our products. Products are sold as-is and should be used as intended. For custom logo orders, you confirm that you own the logo artwork or have the right to use it, and Coastify is not liable for any trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property claims arising from reproducing a customer-supplied logo.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
